Founded in 2019, Red River Battalion has instilled pride, professionalism, and leadership in youths 10-18 years old in our area.

As a non-profit youth organization, Red River Battalion is operated by an all-volunteer staff of veterans and civilians. Each volunteer brings with them a variety of skills and knowledge to help our cadets grow and succeed.

USNSCC is a national youth leadership development organization that promotes interest/skill in naval disciplines while instilling strong moral character and life skills through leadership and technical programs modeled after the U.S. Navy. Our battalion provides a challenging and rewarding educational environment, specifically focused on the trades (Sea Bees).

Naval Sea Cadets are between the ages of 13 and 17 (18 years old may enroll if still in high school). Navy League Cadets are between the ages of 10 and 13. League Cadets drill with Sea Cadets during unit drill but have separate academic assignments and trainings.
